African Americans are being denied jobs and rejected from schools
because of the texture and style of their hair.
Discrimination based on natural hair is a form of social injustice that targets black people, specifically black people with afro-textured hair that has not been chemically straightened. Afro-textured hair has frequently been seen as being unproffessional, unattractive, and unclean.
